Tidekeeper privacy policy

Tidekeeper predicts tides on your device using public data from NOAA that is bundled with the app.

Data we collect

None. Tidekeeper has no account, no analytics and does not request internet access, so it cannot send any data off your device.

Location

If you tap Nearest, the app asks for approximate location to sort tide stations by distance. Your location is used only on your device, is never stored by us and is never shared. You can decline and search stations by name instead.

Data stored on your device

Your selected station and unit preference are saved in the app's private storage. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Children

Tidekeeper is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app adds features that collect or share data (for example advertising), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
