Pulsewise privacy policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Pulsewise calculates daily Recovery, Strain and Sleep scores from health data you choose to share with it through Android Health Connect.

Health data the app reads

With your permission, Pulsewise reads steps, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep sessions, active calories burned and exercise sessions from Health Connect. You can grant or revoke each permission at any time in Health Connect settings.

How it is used

All processing happens on your device to show your scores, trends and charts. Pulsewise has no account, no analytics and does not request internet access, so your health data never leaves your phone. We do not collect, sell, share or use health data for advertising.

Health data the app writes

Only if you choose Load a sample month, Pulsewise writes clearly labelled sample records (device name "Pulsewise Sample data") to Health Connect so you can try the app without a wearable. You can delete them in Health Connect.

Not medical advice

Pulsewise is a general wellness app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.

Children

Pulsewise is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app adds features that collect or share data (for example advertising), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
